❗ Even a single sunburn can increase a person’s risk of skin cancer. This is because when the skin absorbs ultraviolet radiation from sunlight, it can damage the genetic material in skin cells.
❗ In the short term, this damage can cause sunburn and premature ageing causing loss of elasticity, folds and wrinkles, and pigmentations.
❗ In the long term, it builds up and raises the risk of #skincancer
